Happy Birthday, Silke!


My other baby is 8 years old today. *sniff* So what can we say about Silke? She takes the ultimate award for dorkitude: splatting on the back of the couch, lying on her back, being "my furry kidney" (as Jas puts it)...



She came to me a fairly tiny little kitty and is now a very *cough* healthy *cough* 15 pounder. Yes, she's on a diet. Again. She loves her food!

Anyway, happy birthday to my furry kidney!

I have so many pictures of her lying like this -- she must be a closet lush! Maybe that's why Jasmine looks at her weird...
